Wow, I like the feeling of motion you got in this one. I also love how the horse's hooves are left a bit unfinished.

thanks, but I'm pretty sure it can be a lot better
struggling with proportions made me lose focus from the gesture

You probably don't care, but I think the shading/coloring on the horse came out beautifully. What kind of breed were you going for?

thanks, I'm not sure why you think I don't care
I'm not that familiar with horses to distinguish breeds, but I do like drawing them, even though it's hard
trying to get better

I'm sorry if I offended you ? I just mean that you probably get a lot of comments like this hahaha, but yeah, you did really good on the muscle grouping when you went through with shading.

I think a quick pointer for you would be on getting better would be to go through and learn the different breeds. Right away while you're drawing you'll notice that they have a lot of body differences when it comes to the natural shapes of their bodies, and even little nuances like where their eyes are positioned. It'll definitely help when getting your point across when drawing your pictures. It'll also help a lot with becoming familiar with their anatomy and it could help a lot with widening your range when drawing horse types. I haven't really looked through your art, but do you do English poses with horses too, or just stick to western riding? That can make a big difference too! But idk, I think you're doing really good where you are right now :,)

No, you didn't offend me, no worries
I'll try do that, thanks!
I was thinking western, yes, but so far I'm only at practicing stage.

Okay cool! I enjoy riding(and drawing) western more, but English tends to have more position transition and jumping(which helps while practicing). I like Western more, usually, because overall it has a more relaxed/less composed feeling to it.

I was looking through your work, and I really like it! Your drawing style really stood out to me : )

Honestly, that depends on the horse. If u look at certain Thuroughbred, Tennessee walkers, they're just rllllyyy fucking skinny lol :,) but ur right, it just kind of depends on the type of horse she was going for

Oh if the horse is skinny, it usually doesn;t have huge hooves and still, have normal proportions while being skinny overall "D This one doesn't look skinny, legs aren't even that slim but just... to me it's just lil bit too much of them here "D
