Ok, I've noticed a bunch of guys in here that are really deserving this, so I decided I'll take every one of you at a time. So after the current apprentice becomes better and I'll hopefully guide him to the place where he can move on by himself, I'll gladly take on another.
We had a nice event today on ConceptWorld group, speedpainting for like 30 min each, you can check it out here
Hopefully this will happen every Sunday, because not only the beginners have a lot to learn, but I've learned a lot myself, I had no idea I could pull out such great ideas in so little time. Perhaps having 30 minutes at my disposal is actually blocking my mind and I can't really think anymore, like I do on the other designs, plan every single detail and stuff like that, no, I just paint. And the results are pretty good, providing you have the general idea of what you want to achieve.
Also had a chance to hear Brent Hollowell share his story, and that's great because I've been following him for some time now and I can tell you he's got some neat creature concepts.
That's it for today, cheers.
